Photobooth - check!

I was always planning on having a photobooth at my wedding but not because it's really popular, because I LOVE pictures and especially photobooths. Everytime I see one, I insist that Nathan and I spend $4 on a roll - it's one of my favorites! We have stacks of photobooth pictures from our dating days. haha, that sounds so old and long ago. Since I couldn't afford the fancy $1K price tag that most of these cost for a wedding or event, I was planning on setting up my own complete with camera, tripod, backdrop, printing station etc. I knew it was going to be a lot of work figuring this out and some work maintaining throughout the evening, but i was determined.
Last week, my coworker Karina noticed a photobooth deal on Tippr and told me about it since she knew of my obsession and plan. I checked it out, waited to talk to Nathan until he got home from his trip and decided to go for it. It's the type of open photobooth I like - a backdrop and a remote so you can control the pictures and when they are being taken. It's nearly 1/4 of the price normally and it has everything I need - totally worth it! It's going to save me a ton of time and eliminate worrying about my nice camera I was going to set on that tripod, making sure the printer is working etc.

The backdrops they provide are relatively plain so I decided that I'm going to make the one I originally wanted to and just attach to the company's stand. Here is my inspiration and I'm using my wedding colors - black, white, charcoal and dark pink.

I just placed my etsy order for the best looking ribbon I could find at the right price and it's shipping from Korea! I hope it gets here smoothly and looks good in person (the seller had a ton of great reviews) - it can take up to 30 days!
