Spray painting 101

I've decided that spray painting is a ton of fun - I highly recommend it :) and it transforms so many things. I've always planned some of the table decor to be painted charcoal including my frames for signage, table numbers and the wine bottles/vases that will act as decoration. I've been collecting wine bottles of different sizes and decided I needed to make sure this little plan of mine would work. I soaked all the bottles in soapy water overnight and the next day, most of the labels came off relatively easy. For the extra stick that wouldn't come off, I used some of the goo gone and then they were ready for painting! I took a cardboard box outside and planned by frames and wine bottles inside where I proceeded to spray. The mist from the can goes everywhere, so do this away from anything you don't want to get some spray. The finished product is exactly what i was going for. Now, I just need to save and spray the rest over the next four months.
