I've been looking everywhere for some cute accent runners for a few tables at the wedding including rental places and every store out there. I was even looking at drapes & shower curtains that I might be able to alter into runners! No such luck - I can't find anything that works and is the right size. So, I decided I'm going to try out my sewing skills and make my own. I went to JoAnn's this weekend and found a couple cute fabrics and I'll go to a couple more fabric stores over the next week or two before making my final decision.
#1 - even though this is the right charcoal in person (looks light here), it's too blah
#2 - love this one
#3 - too formal, although I really like it.
#4 - Love this one, but wondering if it's too bold. But hey, i love bold so I might go with it!
Thoughts? Votes?
I love the second one as well!! It looks brown in the picture, is it black or gray? You could always use iron on hem if you don't want to sew!
ReplyDeleteI vote for the first or 4th one. I guess it depends on the floral/candle arrangements in the center . . . if you have a bold center piece I would go with something more neutral, however, if you want the runner to be the bold, then I choose the 4th!
