Wedding :: guest book - check!

I've been trying to determine what type of guest book I wanted and came up with a few different ideas. At first, I wanted guests to take Polaroids of themselves to put in my book and sign next to. Then I thought it would be fun to make my own photo book ahead of time that included pictures with us and each of our guests, but determined that I didn't have the time to do that given all the other projects I've already committed to. Then, I saw pictures of those tree guestbooks where people fingerprint the tree to replace where leaves would be. I thought that was cute, but not something that was our style that we would actually hang. Plus, people could only write their names in each fingerprint and there wouldn't be room for a message. But, that idea got me on to art in general and finding something we would want to hang in our house and have people sign the mat. I found inspiration for this somewhere but I can't recall the source. Below is my finished guest book - I bought the frame & mat from Ikea for under $20. I downloaded the font I liked and made the actual 'art' and had it printed at Kinkos for a whopping $.40 so all in all, it was only $20 and we're excited to hang it somewhere in our house.
