Crystal Mountain

Rachael, Leroy, Nathan and I decided to make the trek down to Crystal Mountain when all the good snow hit. Nathan thought it would be more fun to go down the night before and 'car camp'. I was hoping it wouldn't be too bad and that I would actually sleep - wishful thinking. We took the Jeep and made it down there without a problem and arrived at about 9pm. We went straight to the Snorting Elk which is a great hole in the wall at the resort - drunk people, snow pants, a band and beer! We had fun and then got back in the car to find a spot for the night. A full mattress fits flat in the back of the Jeep but unfortunately, it decided to lose air 1 hour after we went to bed so needless to say, the night's sleep was not as I had hoped. I probably got about 3 hours of sleep between the hardness and coldness :) We had a great day on the mountain though!
