Food :: Queen Margherita

Our power went out yesterday afternoon with 1 minute left in the Seahawks game - good thing we didn't miss too much and they won! We did a couple things around the house and after 2 hours, we decided to find some food in Magnolia Village since we couldn't cook anything. Most everything was closed, it becomes a sleepy little town on Sunday evenings. We came upon a lively spot, which is relatively new, Queen Margherita pizza. It was packed and smelled delicious so we decided to try it - we got the last two seats at the bar. Unfortunately, it was a little crazy there and took awhile to get water, salad, food, check etc - their computer system went down and didn't seem like they had enough staff. We ordered a basic salad with greens, tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and olive oil. For our pizza - we ordered the special which had butternut squash, pancetta, goat cheese and a balsamic glaze. It was delicious and I had to stop myself before eating the whole thing. Unfortunately, Nathan didn't like it at all (he doesn't like savory & sweet) and only had one piece. Despite the service, we would definitely go back and try again! I didn't take many pictures but it's quite nice inside and they have really cool light fixtures.
