Food :: Crush

I'm trying to get back on the blog bandwagon but I have to say it's really hard so I might be a consistent poster but I'm trying!

Nathan's co-worker's gave us a gift card for our wedding to the restaurant Crush, in Madison Valley. We had been there for Valentine's day a few years ago but were excited to try again.
Crush is in an old house but is extremely modern inside - I don't really feel like the two go together, in the right way, at least. We were seated upstairs which is nice and private.
I started my meal with heirloom tomato salad and Nathan got lobster tortellini. We ended up splitting both the apps and the entrees with each other so we could try everything. For dinner Nathan go the scallops which were cooked perfectly and I got the halibut. The food at Crush is plated very artistically and has a lot of different components that go together. We ordered cocktails off the menu and those were not so good, unfortunately but all the food was great. I think it's definitely worth trying at least once!

  1. It looks like the portions are really tiny... Stew would probably make me stop at McDonald's on the way home! ;-)
